Carmichael for this opportunity to advocate for my peers with mental illness going through criminal court proceedings. I&#8217;m introducing <a href=\"https:\/\/kslegislature.gov\/li_2024\/b2023_24\/measures\/documents\/hb2692_00_0000.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/kslegislature.gov\/li_2024\/b2023_24\/measures\/documents\/hb2692_00_0000.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HB2692<\/a> into the House Judiciary Committee and hopefully, we&#8217;ll get a hearing on the bill.
